Design Brief:

The brief was for a modern beach house, the design is the outcome of a passion for raw materials and hard architectural lines being softened by vibrant and eye catching native plant palettes.

The client wanted a tranquil sanctuary that enabled them to enjoy raising a young family. The block feels very private and allows them to open the whole house up to the elemnets and landscape around them. It was important for the landscape design to connect with the vistas, provide different outdoor rooms for a calming lifestyle that allows them to unwind or entertain.

This project was all about giving an ultra modern archtecturally designed home a real connection to the native surrounds and coastal context.
