Landscape Design - Balcony or Alfresco Design
Design Brief:
The client had moved into a new apartment complex and wanted to turn the balcony into a stylish, useable and low maintenance space. There was a requirement for alfresco dining and lounging, so furniture was chosen that would provide ample space for both without inhibiting movement through around the balcony.
Interesting and hardy plants were to be introduced to the space to incorporate some greenery and visual interest. The client also wanted to decorate the entry to the apartment with planting in pots – a statement pot with cacti was chosen as the focal point, with a row of three of the same pots to flank the entryway.
