Design Brief:

The designer was engaged by the client, a self employed couple with a teenage daughter to design the pool, landscape and external areas for a new home they were building in a new housing development. The house design and specifications had been largely completed by the time he became involved in the project.

The house consumed most of the site and had been designed with the main family living at the
rear and an additional alfresco room at the front, which the client hoped could be used in conjunction with a pool and outdoor entertaining. In addition, they were seeking a formal pedestrian entry which along with driveway access to the garage was secure but provided a great entry statement for the property.
