Design Brief:

Ecco Ripley is a master-planned estate located at Ripley, Ipswich. The Bundamba Creek corridor plays a vital role in native vegetation retention, fauna habitat and creek stability for Ecco Ripley.

All open spaces had to consider the Ecco development principles including Environment, Community, Connectivity and Opportunity (ECCO).

Detailed requirements included:
 Preserve native vegetation wherever possible;
 Re-establish specific endangered vegetation and koala food trees;
 Restore native vegetation through weed management and infill planting of native species;
 Provide fauna habitat and linkages throughout; 
 Stabilise areas of disturbance ;
 Allow for future pathway and recreational opportunities;
 Utilise community involvement as part of community building and education/ training.
