Landscape Design - Rooftop

Design Brief:

The design brief for this project was to create an area for the whole family to entertain both large groups of friends and more intermit nights around a fire. The designer was asked to create a space that could facilitate people flow while entertaining, to create busy conversation areas and lounging pause spaces. The space was to include a large dining setting, builtin bbq area and lounge seating with a fire pit. He was asked to come up solutions to make this rooftop space useable all year round.

Judges’ Comments:

A clever and well-constructed solution to a difficult situation that achieves the desired outcome.
