Design Brief:

The brief for this project was to create a functional space for a young growing family to enjoy nature and all its elements. A haven on warm sunny days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A warm and inviting place to share with extended family and friends.

The landscape design was to include a deck, a swimming pool, level turf area, pizza oven, trampoline and swing set, privacy on the north and western fences, chicken coop, beehive, vegetable bed, fruit trees, and flowers for the bees.

Judges’ Comments:

The designer has created warm, inviting spaces with highly appealing visual elements that are on view from the back of the house. Carefully chosen features, materials and plants transform this open space into practical and aesthetically appealing garden rooms. The designer has nailed the brief and the result is creative and stylish.
