Project: Morrison Ave Residence

Design Brief:

The brief was for a conceptual landscape and garden design for the front areas of the property, including a new driveway design. The design was to include a multi-purpose hard stand area in front of the house to be used as a car space, seating and a focal point of interest.

It was to maximise the street appeal of the property with a modern cottage style garden with soft, colourful layered plants. Pedestrian access to the property was to be improved and new front walls installed to complement the planting.

Judges’ Comments:
The materials and elements in the garden impressed judges with their perfect balance of hardscaping and soft scaping. They thought the design added a lot of interest and value to the entrance of the home with the changing levels and design solutions, and year-round interest in the plant selection.
