Project: Skye Gardens

Design Brief:

The brief was to create an inviting garden that was an extension of the living space, full of colour, texture, and interest. The garden needed to include a play space with room for a sandpit, waterplay and a swing with a flat lawn for play.

The clients required a beautiful engaging space that was a joy to be in and a pleasure to view from inside. The planting brief was to provide privacy, lush subtropical, with pops of colour & interest and to include edible elements.

Judges’ Comments:
Judges thought this an engaging design for a young family on a limited budget. The curving, layered beds provide a perfect palette for a rich combination of plants including luscious, large leaved plants that add height without taking too much space.
