Design Brief:

The brief was quite unique; design a Moroccan inspired rooftop garden for a building project fast nearing completion. The clients were keen travellers and had fallen in love with the architecture, colour and vibrancy of Marrakech. They wanted the garden to capture this essence with a subtle modern edge.

Their brief required separate areas for lounging and for dining with water an important element to add. Also a private retreat just for them and an area for visiting guests to relax. Added to all this was the need to ensure the trinkets collected on their travels were incorporated. These additions provided a personal story to the space.
