Landscape Design - Residential Landscape Design 50m2-150m2
Design Brief:
The clients wanted to extend the living area from the newly renovated kitchen, dining area to create that all important indoor-outdoor link. The garden needed to include casual seating and more formal dining as well as a spot for the BBQ. The existing hot water system and side passage, where the clothesline was to remain, were to be sceened off.
With the installation of large picture windows across the rear of the house the garden had become a real focal point from the inside lounge area. The garden therefore had to provide a striking outlook when viewed from the inside as well as being practical in its approach to creating useable space.
Extensive lighting was a requirement to allow the gardens to be viewed at night from inside as well as creating ambiance when using the space.
The clients wanted to install a weather proof shade structure that would not take away any light from inside the house.
