Residential Landscape Design Less than 50m2
Design Brief:
The clients residence was a period terrace home in Glebe, Sydney, undergoing a large renovation. They were after a contemporary low maintenance garden fit for adults and children. They wanted a design that would work with the modern interior being designed for the house.
The clients wanted to see continuity in the garden, flowing from the balcony to the garden. Even though the garden was quite small the clients wanted the area to entertain guests, as well as being a tranquil space for the family to relax and escape their busy careers. The area needed to provide parking for one car.
The next door residence was two stories high so privacy from this home was a must.
The clients wanted an option for a shade structure on the balcony, something that would allow the light in, in winter and shade in summer.
