Design Brief:

The homeowners of this property wanted to create a Napa Valley feel. They liked the formal, Mediterranean style gardens of the vineyards and large properties in California and wanted a plant palette and design that reflected this.

The acreage is located in Terry Hills where many of the large properties tend to look very similar. The clients were clear that they wanted to create something different.

The full property, just over 4 acres, was to be designed and useable. The clients would be renting out the lower property for equestrian use. This included stables, an arena and viewing platform, holding yards and designated parking bays for horse floats; all of which was to be included in the design. The upper property was for the families personal use; tennis court, pool vegetable gardens and more!
