Residential Landscape Design 50m2 - 150m2

Design Brief:

To create a distinctly rustic and sustainable feel for the rear garden of the existence residence, with the use of recycled materials as a key feature. The design is to have a vegetable/edible garden and for it to be constructed to the rear of the block taking advantage of the North facing aspect. A young family inner city sanctuary with a sustainable garden.

Key criteria to be considered and included were:

• Make best use of the small garden
• Create edible gardens
• Work with aspect to create functional, attractive places to sit in the sun
• Reduce the impact of neighbours and increase privacy
• Create better flow from internal spaces to outside areas
• Work within a young family’s budget
• Use recycled sustainable products
