Landscape Design - Commercial Open Space 

Design Brief:

The pioneer of technology, Leonardo da Vinci, Gladstone’s strong Industrial history, and its natural site,  provided inspiration for the “Industry meets Nature” design of this park.

The overall form is derived from ‘cogs’ and the interaction with each other provides islands of play and recreation. Every aspect of this park is unique with special elements that engage and inspire.

The park provides many opportunities for interactive and passive play. A truly inter-generational design provides choices for everyone to enjoy the environment. The overall design incorporates sensory features accommodating children and adults with disabilities including sensory processing disorder, auditory processing disorder, visual impairment, down-syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and spina bifida.
