Plantscape Design 

Design Brief:

The client required a design for a pool and solutions for the outdoor dining area. The finished design was to have a relaxed but structured feel to match the renovation of their home. The garden needed to be an inviting, beautiful space to look out to from the kitchen. The outdoor space was to be a cool shaded space in summer that is functional as a place to cook, sit and dine.

The existing masonry garage walls and L shaped block became opportunities to generate the pool layout. Within the pool area  a seat wraps around the wall shaded by an awning. The pool has a dark mosaic tile and a lighter coping.  The garden around the pool was screened from the neighbouring properties to create a peaceful ‘pond’ like pool  nestled into the garden.
