Residential Landscape Design more than 150m2
Design Brief:
The theme for the garden of this contemporary home was for it to be minimalistic with splashes of more eclectic spaces. A feature garden was created between two concrete thoroughfares with a cluster of maples and a meandering circular steppingstone pathway to the front door.
Built in bench seats, a raised planter and a black steel water chute were added to the basement courtyard. A central ribbon staircase was the inspiration behind 3 circular pod vertical garden planters and a black mirror feature piece. Mass clivea and a wall of star jasmine were used to create a lush, bespoke piece of wall art in the internal light well.
A concrete flyover behind the pool offered an opportunity for Lump hanging planters and a vertical star jasmine curtain. Another artwork piece by Lump is framed by the aloe tree and the clean level lawn offers simplicity and a sense of openness to the rear vista.
