Residential Landscape Design more than 150m2

Design Brief:

To create an intimate luscious space around a new modern house within an affluent seaside suburb of Newcastle. An entertainers’ dream garden that functions well for the whole family, extended family and friends. The brief was required to have visual interest through all the angles of the tight and narrow urban site whilst maximising street appeal. A low maintenance and tranquil haven for the teenage boys and parents.

Judges’ Comments:

This landscape has some clever design solutions given the constraints of the site. The cantilevered pergola structure and the rock wall feature alongside the pool are standouts in this project. A really fitting garden design not only for the location, but the size and building style.
