Residential Landscape Design more than 150m2

Design Brief:

The harbourfront home had been positioned to take advantage of the site’s premium views but it had a barren landscape. A garden that complemented the existing architecture while remaining appropriate to its environment and climatic conditions was important to the client.
Equally, establishing a significant street presence via the landscape was essential, as was the desire to reconnect the home with its surroundings.

Judges’ Comments:

A well-considered response to a complex site, with both practical and exciting plantings and re-interpreted spaces. The green wall on the boundary is the stand-out feature and an excellent addition to this landscape.
