Project: Morrison Ave Residence

Gold Award - Residential Design (Mid Size)
-
Gold Award - Plantscape
Design Brief:
The brief was for a conceptual landscape and garden design for the front areas of the property, including a new driveway design. The design was to include a multi-purpose hard stand area in front of the house to be used as a car space, seating and a focal point of interest.
It was to maximise the street appeal of the property with a modern cottage style garden with soft, colourful layered plants. Pedestrian access to the property was to be improved and new front walls installed to complement the planting.
Judges’ Comments:
This is an example of how a good designer can transform a site and
measurably alter the streetscape for the better. A remarkable
transformation from probably the ugliest to the best garden in the street, making plants the heroes.
